About the Missouri motorcycle passengers & cargo test
Adding a passenger or a load changes how your motorcycle behaves. This set covers carrying passengers and cargo, how extra weight affects braking, acceleration, and handling, and how to load and secure gear so it stays put. It is practical knowledge and a genuine 2026 Class M exam topic.
Questions ask you to brief a passenger, balance a load low and forward, and allow more distance for the bike's changed responses. The Missouri DOR includes this because an unbalanced load or an untrained passenger can upset control at exactly the wrong moment.
The requirement stays at 25 questions and 80 percent correct, 20 answers, for the Class M endorsement. When you are unsure how weight shifts affect the machine, the Missouri Motorcycle Operator Manual spells out the adjustments. Learn to plan for the extra load and you will pass this section at the Missouri DMV while keeping both you and your passenger safe.
Every question traces back to the Missouri Motorcycle Manual - skim the right-of-way and signs chapters before your retake.
